Crane Shoring at St. Joseph's Healthcare, Hamilton, Ontario

Client:

JADE Engineers provided structural engineering for the shoring set up for the crane shoring of a 165 ton crane for Comstock Canada Ltd. at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. Our firm provided certified shoring drawings to support the outrigger of the crane that was positioned over an underground parking garage.

On site construction reviews were required to confirm that the shoring work was in general conformance with the requirements of the Ontario Building Code.   Due to interference issues found onsite, JADE Engineers Inc. had to react quickly with an alternative set-up and prepare as built drawings to suit the site.  The project was referred by and the shoring was installed by Thompson Miller Industrial Corp.
